Green Bay comes alive during Packers Training Camp, and whether you’re a diehard fan or just here for the summer energy, there’s something truly magical about this time of year. This year marks the 80th Packers Training Camp, which kicked off on Wednesday, July 23! From iconic traditions like DreamDrive to fun family events and unbeatable eats near Lambeau Field, here’s your all-in-one guide to navigating camp like a local!
Training Camp Basics
Training Camp officially began Wednesday, July 23, with 14 practices open to the public. All practices will be held at Ray Nitschke Field and start at 10:30 a.m., with gates opening 90 minutes prior. Admission is free, and seating is first-come, first-served. You can bring small coolers and bags, but keep in mind that security staff will be checking carry-ins.
Don’t Miss the Traditions
DreamDrive is a Green Bay staple! Now in its 12th year, this heartwarming tradition lets kids lend their bikes to players for the ride from Lambeau Field to the practice field. Want to participate? Head to the Oneida Nation Gate steps and line up near the bike racks. No e-bikes or motorized scooters, just good old-fashioned pedal power.
Every open practice day, the Blue Lot will also have different interactive activities like face painting and balloon artists, and local nonprofits showcased!
