We are so excited for summer! Green Bay comes alive with the extra influx of visitors here for Green Bay Packers training camp, Bay Beach Amusement Park, and all of the other fun warm-weather adventures the city has to offer.
One of the biggest questions we get from families who come to visit Green Bay in the summer is, “Where should we eat?” Finding a place that both kids and parents are going to love isn’t hard around here. Whether you want a place where you can sit outside or somewhere that’s loaded with fun games, we’ve got a good roundup here for you!

The Pancake Place
Let’s start with breakfast. If you’re looking for a place with legendary pancakes that is family-owned and super affordable, look no further than The Pancake Place. Kids will have so much fun making their own (huge) pancakes by adding their favorite ingredients, like bananas, blueberries, chocolate chips, Oreos, whipped cream, strawberries, and more!
Cocoon Brewing
A brewery? Kid-friendly? Yes! This one is definitely kid-friendly, and once you get there, you will see what we mean. They have a great yard with all kinds of lawn games, and nine times out of ten, you will see more kids than adults out there. Inside, there are shelves of games that you can pull out and play while you enjoy their incredible pizza and black garlic bread.
Gallagher's Pizza - East Green Bay
All of the Gallagher’s locations are kid-friendly and serve awesome food, but we’re specifically calling out the East Green Bay location on Webster Ave. because they have a really nice outdoor seating area. They offer a lunch buffet Monday - Saturday, a dinner buffet on Mondays, and a Friday Seafood Buffet every Friday. Everyone can get exactly what they want!

Happy Joe's Pizza & Ice Cream
Sticking with pizza, we have to recommend Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream. Not only do they have pizza… and ice cream… they also have a great little arcade where kids (and grown-ups) can play while waiting for the food to be ready. They have a viewing window so kids can watch the pizza being made, and if you’re lucky, Happy Joe himself will make an appearance!
Zesty's Frozen Custard & Grill
There are two Zesty’s locations, one in Allouez on Greene Ave. and one in Howard on Lineville Road. This is the perfect place to bring the family for lunch, dinner, or just a mid-day custard treat. The vibe is retro, but the flavors are always new and exciting. Their kids’ meals are so fun; you get an entree, drink, side, and scoop of custard, and it’s served in a classic car!

1919 Kitchen & Tap
Take your little Packers fans to 1919 Kitchen & Tap, which is located inside the Lambeau Field atrium. They will think it’s so cool to walk around the stadium and eat in the restaurant, and they can also see all kinds of memorabilia in the restaurant. Bigger kids will love the choices on the “regular” menu, and younger kids will find all of their favorites on the kids’ menu!
888 Cheese & Co.
Is there anything more kid-friendly than grilled cheese? 888 Cheese & Co. is the perfect family-friendly dining option, but grown-ups, don’t worry. This place has so much for you, too! For example, their “Chow Down!” sammie is made with jalapeno cornbread, slow-roasted BBQ brisket, sharp cheddar, and dill pickle chips. Truly, something for everyone.
Cheesesteak Rebellion
Star Wars memorabilia, pinball machines, your favorite classic movies on repeat? Yeah, this place is pretty cool for kids of all ages (and that includes the kids at heart). But let’s talk about what matters most: the food! If you can’t pass up a classic cheesesteak with Whiz, this is your spot. The menu also features amazing burgers, fries, and so much more!
Player 2 Arcade Bar
Sticking with the arcade theme, Player 2 is another great spot for kids to run around and try their hand at vintage games like Wrestlemania and Frogger. The burgers here are insane, like their Terminator 2, which comes topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, candied bacon jam, fried onions, and bacon mayo. They also have great chicken sandwiches and wings!
