Check Out Special Events Around Town

Mother’s Day is more than a meal! Take mom out on the town and check out these local spots that are offering free admission and special events.
At the Green Bay Botanical Garden, moms get in free all day, plus you can swing by their Moms & Mimosas celebration from 10:00am to 2:00pm, featuring treats from a waffle truck and coffee truck, plus permanent jewelry from Weld + Arrow.
Over at the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park, moms also enjoy free admission, including access to the canopy tour. While supplies last, mom can also choose a free plant, courtesy of Wery’s Sweet Summer Bloomers, and receive a complimentary bag of candy. You’ll also enjoy some extras with vendors and on-site activities, including fresh cheese curds from The Dog House, sweet treats from Nothing Bundt Cakes, and beverages from Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck.
Looking for something a little more restorative? Jenstar Movement Studio is hosting a half-day women’s retreat on May 9th. Enjoy nature-inspired somatic movement, creative projects, and restorative yoga. The perfect events for moms who could use a reset.

If your mom loves a good market, stop by Cocoon Brewing for their Mother’s Day Micro Market. Local vendors, build-your-own bouquets, handmade goods, and flavored mimosas await!
Feeling crafty? Board & Brush is offering DIY workshops complete with flowers and complimentary mimosas. You’ll get some quality time getting creative with mom and leave with a handmade project.
And for the moms who are looking for some new ink, tattoo artist Mira at Sanctuary Tattoo is hosting a Mother’s Day flash event on Friday, May 8th, starting at 11:00am. Get your own tattoo tribute to mom, or, better yet, get matching ones together!
Pour & Sip

Sometimes the best gift is sipping something delicious while enjoying each other’s company. Treat Mom to a tasting or a glass of wine at spots like Amphora Wine Bar, Duck Creek Winery, Ledgestone Vineyards, Mona Rose Winery, or The Bottle Room.
Relax & Restore

Let’s be real—Mom loves spending time with the fam…but she could also probably use a little peace and quiet. Give her the gift of relaxation with a visit to one of Green Bay’s local spas and wellness spots.
Book a relaxing, restorative spa treatment or salon service at , The Waters at Lodge Kohler, Lux Spa, The Day Spa, The Main Salon, Salon 54, or Prime IV Hydration & Wellness and give mom the gift of self-care.
Pick Up a Thoughtful Gift
No celebration is complete without a little something special to unwrap. Browse for unique finds at one of Green Bay’s many local businesses. Find treasure at American Antiques & Jewelry, step up her shoe game at The Heel Shoefitters, and grab gourmet oils at Oilerie Green Bay. You’ll also discover plenty of treats and treasures at LoCo Wisco, Green Bay Cookie Co., and Three Little Birds Consignment.
Make Mother’s Day Special
However you choose to celebrate, the most important thing is spending time together and making Mom feel appreciated. Whether that looks like brunch and bouquets, a spa day, or just a slow afternoon with a glass of wine, Green Bay has everything you need to make her day extra special.
