Halloween is right around the corner, so you’re probably thinking about what you’re going to hand out to trick-or-treaters. Instead of hitting up the big box store this year, why not shop for your goodies while you’re visiting Green Bay? We have so many options that will make your house the house to remember year after year…. and isn’t that the whole goal? 😄

Here is a roundup of some unique Green Bay goodies that you can get for your trick-or-treaters this year:

Seroogy's Halloween candies

Seroogy’s Homemade Chocolates

It’s Halloween, and chocolate is king. And of course, some of the best chocolates come from Seroogy’s. You will make a lot of friends this year if you hand out their Meltaway Minis or Caramel Minis. Aside from goodies for trick-or-treaters, they also have an entire Halloween section if you’re looking to make “Boo Baskets” for your kids or loved ones!

Poppin’ Z’s Gourmet Popcorn

Instead of candy, how about some delicious gourmet popcorn? It’s like the popcorn balls of decades past, except people will be super excited to receive it (and eat it). Their 3-ounce snack bags are the perfect size, and they won’t break your budget. They even have a super creepy, super yummy Halloween Mix available, which is a blend of black caramel and sweet orange!

Main Oriental Market

This super popular Asian market near the downtown library in Green Bay is a great place to stop if you want to stock up on some more “outside the box” trick-or-treat goodies, like White Rabbit cream candy, flavored mini Kit-Kats, and even ramen (yes, our research uncovered that kids,  especially teenagers, like to receive ramen instead of candy).

School House

Okay, now we’re going to get into the non-edible options from small businesses in Green Bay… starting with scented pencils from School House! Their large selection of bulk scented pencils is not only fun, but they’re also super practical. And they won’t cause cavities! They also have tons of stickers, fidgets, trinkets, and other fun toys that would be perfect to hand out.

Gamestop

If you have kids who are into Pokémon, you probably already know about the “Trick or Trade” Pokémon cards that are available around Halloween. For those unfamiliar, these are mini packs of Pokémon cards that you can buy in bulk for trick-or-treating. Gamestop in the Bay Park Square mall is a great place to find these if that’s what you want to hand out this year!

Beernsten's Wiskey Old Fashioned Suckers

Beerntsen's Candies

Sticking with good old-fashioned candy for a moment, we also have to shout out Beerntsens, another historic, beloved candy company. They offer individually wrapped chocolates and candies that would be the perfect thing to hand out to your trick-or-treaters. Trust us, they are going to be so much more excited to receive this than another package of Peanut M&Ms.

Power’s Comics

Giving out comic books to trick-or-treaters is such a good idea, and Power’s Comics is a great place to stock up. They’re going to have all of your favorites, but they also have tons and tons of $1 comics, which would be perfect for Halloween. You never know; if you do this, you might introduce kids to their new favorite hobby and their new favorite characters!

UFO Museum Gift Shop and Records

Want to give out something a little weird that will delight trick-or-treaters AND their parents? Check out the toy bins at UFO Museum Gift Shop and Records. You will find delightful pins, finger puppets, figurines (like California Raisins, Garbage Pail Kids, and Garfield), and so much more you have to see to appreciate. And you can get yourself a record while you’re there!
