Even though our beloved home team didn’t make it to New Orleans to face off in “The Big Game” this weekend, there are still plenty of reasons to tune in. First, there’s the possibility that the Kansas City Chiefs will clinch a third consecutive victory — or will they get stopped by the Philidelphia Eagles? There’s going to be an entertaining halftime show. And of course, there are always lots of fantastic commercials you won’t want to miss!
Not sure where to gather? We have you covered. Here are some of our picks for where to watch the game this Sunday:
Stadium View Bar
According to their Facebook page, Stadium View Bar is the premier sports bar in the nation and the number one NFL Sports Bar in the world. That pretty much means it’s the perfect place to watch the big game! Starting at 5 pm on Sunday, they will have food and drink specials available, TONS of televisions tuned to the game, and they’ll be giving away prizes every 15 minutes throughout the whole game. You’re guaranteed to have a SUPER time!
Burkel's One Block Over
Another option in the Lambeau Field Stadium District is Burkel’s One Block Over (named because it’s one block over from Lambeau Field). They’re going to have homemade apple pie shots available on Sunday, as well as some great food and drink specials (like happy hour drinks all day and night and $0.75 cent bone-in wings). Burkel's will also be giving away five $100 gift cards to random lucky winners who stop by to watch the big game!
D2 Sports Pub Stadium District
D2 Sports Pub is another Stadium District bar that will be hosting a party on Sunday. They are going to be giving out swag bags for the first 50 guests, as well as prizes every 30 minutes from 1 pm until the end of the game. Plus, they’re doing a meat raffle at 1:30 pm! They’ll have double bubble all day (aka two drinks for the price of one), as well as food specials. Table space will be limited so give them a call at 920-499-3110 to make reservations!
Anduzzi’s Sports Club
One more pick from the Stadium District is Anduzzi’s Sports Club! They shared on Facebook that they are hosting the BIGGEST party for the biggest game of the year. The Mardi Gras Madness-themed party includes happy hour specials all day long, free mystery shots (inspired by your votes), and $13 one-topping pizzas. Tons of big screens, cold drinks, and nonstop game-day energy… and what more could you possibly ask for?
The Sardine Can
Let’s head out of the Stadium District and into the Downtown District where the gameday fun is also going to be going strong. The Sardine Can is a local favorite because it’s always full of friendly people who are just looking to have a good time. This Sunday will be no different. Their watch party will include a $4 Power Hour from 4:30 to 5:30 pm, Double Bubble during the game, $1 Off Cherry Bombs after the game, as well as halftime and post-game raffles!
Titletown Brewing Company
Titletown Brewing Company is always a great place to hang out and watch football, with its delicious beer, craft cocktails, and food menu. And, if the game ends up being a snoozefest, you can try to hit the high score on the pinball machines inside the taproom! If you’d rather grab something to go, their house-made Bloody Mary mix is available for pre-order, and they’ll also be giving a $2 discount on all 4-packs, crowlers, and growler fills of beer on Sunday.
ComedyCity Theater
Now, this *technically* isn’t a place where you can watch the game but we wanted to include an option for those who don’t care about football (or who don’t want to watch if the Packers aren’t playing). ComedyCity in De Pere will be performing a “Stupor Bowl” improv show for all ages on Sunday at 5:30 pm. This is the first time they’re doing this and they said that they’re even considering a halftime show, so come ready to laugh and have a good time!
We’re all a little sad the Pack didn’t make it all the way this season, but we’re still looking forward to a great time this Sunday. We hope to see you at one of these local spots!
