Just because the football season has wrapped up doesn’t mean our team spirit has! In Green Bay, football pride is part of the culture year-round. If you’re visiting us in the offseason, don’t worry. There are still PLENTY of ways to tap into that legendary energy and experience the traditions that make this city so special.
Packers Hall of Fame

No offseason visit is complete without a visit to the Packers Hall of Fame. Located inside the Lambeau Field atrium, this immersive experience walks you through the team’s story, from early championships all the way to the modern era. You will get a chance to see interactive exhibits, memorabilia, and a whole room of championship trophies! It’s a great way to stay connected to your favorite team, even when the field is quiet.
Oneida Nation Walk of Legends

Just east of Lambeau Field, you will find the Oneida Nation Walk of Legends. This public art walkway honors the people and moments that helped shape Packers history. The statues celebrate players, coaches, and contributors, and they also contain information on the history of the Oneida Nation, who sponsors the statues. It carries a lot of meaning, especially for those who appreciate the legacy behind the green and gold.
Neville Public Museum

To understand Green Bay beyond the gridiron, head to the Neville Public Museum. Start in the Generations Gallery, where you will get a chance to see everything from fossils to footballs. The gallery tells the stories of the people of Northeast Wisconsin and offers context for how this small city became such a big name in sports. If you want a sneak peek, feel free to explore the historic photography collection online!
Hotel Northland

Historic Hotel Northland in the Downtown District has been part of Green Bay’s story for generations. The hotel opened in March of 1924 (at that time, it was the largest hotel in Wisconsin), and it once served as the headquarters for the Green Bay Packers! They have done such a beautiful job with the restoration, and you can see a lot of old photographs and relics from Packers history throughout the building and restaurants.
Hagemeister Park

Looking for a laid-back spot to eat and drink during your visit to Green Bay? Hagemeister Park is a local favorite that contains a lot of football lore. Named after the first home of the Green Bay Packers (1919 to 1922), Hagemeister is a locally owned theme restaurant for sports fans and social events of all kinds. While you’re there, take some time to explore the photographs displayed throughout the dining room. There’s some great history there!
Packers Heritage Trail
After your meal at Hagemeister, a walking tour might sound like a welcome idea. The Packers Heritage Trail is a walking, biking, or driving tour throughout Green Bay and De Pere that contains 25 bronze commemorative plaques. These plaques are placed at sites where significant moments from Packers history unfolded. You’ll see the birthplace of the Packers, Curly Lambeau's gravesite, Acme Packing, and more!
Green Bay Party House
Want to stay in the shadows of Lambeau Field while you’re visiting? The Green Bay Party House is a popular gameday rental that is actually available year-round. Who says you have to wait for football season for an iconic Green Bay tailgate? The home features six in-home garage doors, so you can open up the entire house and enjoy the views of your favorite stadium, and six big screen TVs to replay highlights from past games!
LoCo WisCo

Finally, we had to give you a place to scratch that shopping itch. We love LoCo WisCo for unique Packers items and Wisconsin-made gifts! This is the perfect place to get yourself a Green Bay sweatshirt, sticker, art print, pint glass, or dangly earrings. Plus, they have a nice selection of locally-made snacks and beverages. It’s one of the best places (other than Lambeau Field) to get yourself a souvenir from your visit.
We hope you feel inspired to come celebrate your favorite team, even in the offseason! Oh, and while you’re here, be sure to stop at the Discover Green Bay Visitor Center. Here, you can see even more Packers history, and we can help you map out the rest of your time in town!
