So, you’re heading to Green Bay on a solo trip this winter? We think that’s pretty awesome. Why wait around for someone’s schedule to align with yours when you can just hit the road and make your own memories! And as an added bonus, you get to do whatever you want — no compromises necessary!

Since we don’t see the solo travel “trend” dying down anytime soon, we put together a fun little itinerary to inspire your winter vacay. We hope this list inspires you to take that trip!

Breakfast

Delilah's

Let’s start with the most important meal of the day. As a solo traveler, you want to head to a place that feels welcoming and inviting. Delilah’s is a great option because you can sit at the bar, where it feels totally normal to be dining solo. Not to mention, their food is fantastic. Take it from a recent review: “Delilah’s runs like a place that actually cares — and it shows in every detail.” We recommend a Fried Green Tomato Benny with a Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte.

Morning Activity

Husband and wife snowshoeing

After you’re all nice and warmed up from breakfast, you’ll be ready for a bit of outdoor activity. How about snowshoeing? It’s a peaceful way to check out nature while also burning some calories. We recommend heading out to the Reforestation Camp, where there are two miles of snowshoe trails and rentals on site. The snowshoe trailhead is located on the east side of the upper parking lot. This is a free activity (other than rentals), and no trail pass is needed!

Lunch

Ok, now it’s time to refuel, and since you’re already in Suamico, make a stop at 888 Cheese & Co. for a gourmet grilled cheese. I mean, you are in Green Bay, and we do know our cheese. The PB Juan is a favorite if you’re feeling a little bit adventurous. Or, if you prefer to stick with more classic ingredients, you are probably going to love the Mac Daddy. Either way, this is a meal that will stick to your bones and warm you up before you head out on your next adventure!

Afternoon Activity

Wonderland Vintage Market

Okay, time for another activity… antiquing! This is such a fun activity to do on a solo trip because you can take as long as you want, browsing all of the different treasures and trinkets. Plus, people who own antique shops are usually happy to chat about their items, so if you’re feeling the need for human connection, you’re all set. We recommend checking out Wonderland Vintage Market; it’s large and full of all kinds of vintage goodies!

Dinner

Amphora Wine

Something about asking for a table for one feels vulnerable, but we’ve got a few recommendations that won’t have you feeling any anxiety while you eat. For a slightly more upscale meal, we suggest Amphora Wine Bar. This is a great option because you can eat at the bar, and the food, wine, and cocktails are next level. For something more casual, head across the river to Al’s Hamburger on Washington Street. This casual burger joint is super welcoming, and you’ll love watching the chefs cook your food in the open kitchen.

Evening Activity

People entering Epic Events Center

You’ve had a big day, but it’s not over yet. There’s still time to enjoy Green Bay’s nightlife, even if you’re traveling solo. Seeing a show is always a great idea, so be sure to check out the event listings at the Meyer Theatre, Weidner Center, Epic Event Center, and the Resch Center to see what’s happening while you’re here. If you’re looking for something more interactive, the Oneida Casino is always a fun time, whether you’re into slots, table games, off-track betting, or bingo!
