Aardvark Wine Lounge
Don't miss your last chance to visit Aardvark Wine Lounge! This downtown Green Bay staple is closing its doors for good, but you can still stop in on February 14 & 15, 2025 for one final glass. It is a unique space to discover and experience fantastic wines inspired by the owner’s extensive world travels. Their food menu features a variety of delicious small plate options like bruschetta, olives, and cheese and meat slates (they have South African, Italian, and French options). Amphora Wine Bar
Amphora Wine Bar is an Art Deco-inspired lounge located in the Broadway District. If you haven’t visited yet, you are in for a real treat! Not only do they offer a globally diverse (and extensive) wine program, they also have a very unique cocktail list and shareable plate menu. Amphora is an ideal spot if you’re looking to enjoy a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere.
Von Stiehl Winery
Wisconsin’s oldest licensed winery, Von Stiehl Winery has been perfecting the art of winemaking since 1967. Located in Algoma, they offer over 40 different wines, from local favorites sourced from Door County and Kewaunee County orchards to top-notch selections from West Coast vineyards. Stop by for a tasting or take a tour to get the full experience!
Mona Rose Winery
Mona Rose Winery specializes in small-batch, handcrafted wines. They take a more minimalist approach, limiting sulfates and other additives similar to the European style of wine making. If this sounds like your kind of place, stop out for their Love Day event on Valentine’s Day from 4:30 to 7:30pm. There will be a live band playing love songs and taking special requests! It’s the perfect backdrop for a nice pre-dinner wine tasting with your loved one.
LedgeStone Vineyards
Nestled in the scenic Niagara Escarpment is LedgeStone Vineyards, a local favorite and must-visit destination for wine lovers. LedgeStone specializes in barrel-aged reds and dry wines, but they also offer semi-sweet options to suit every palate. If you want to get a good sense of what they offer, try a Guided Wine Tastings where you can enjoy four pours of wine while learning more about their handcrafted selections!
The Bottle Room
The Bottle Room is one of the first places you think of when you think of ordering a great glass of wine. They have the most welcoming vibes, perfect for a romantic date night. Share a few of their delicious tapas and sample a wine flight together! For Valentine’s Day, the “Fireplace Faves” flight would be a perfect pick. It comes with a small glass of Milbrandt (Merlot), Pedroncelli (Red Blend), Novelty Hill (Syrah), and André Brunel (GSM). Talk about cozy!
Stella's
Located in De Pere, Stella's offers fresh, flavorful food and exceptional hospitality. The reason we’ve included them on our Valentine’s Day Wine Tour is their Thursday Happy Hour wine special where you can get HALF OFF bottles of wine from 4 to 6 pm. Since Galentine’s Day falls on a Thursday this year, it might be a great option for gathering up your girlfriends! Get some delicious appetizers and split a bottle… or two!
Studio 1212 Cafe & Wine Bar
Studio 1212 Cafe & Wine Bar is another great option. They have a special Valentine’s Day dinner menu featuring delicious options like Grilled Salmon with Lemon Dill Caper Sauce and Roasted Red Pepper Bisque with Gouda Cheese and Naan. Their Mediterranian-inspired food is always cooked fresh using only the finest olive oil so if you’re looking to impress someone, this is a great option! Cocoon Brewing
You might wonder what the heck a brewery is doing on a Valentine’s Day Wine Tour, but hear us out. While they are certainly known for their craft beers, Cocoon Brewing also has a decent wine selection. On Thursday, they are also going to be hosting Valen-Wine Bingo, a free wine-tasting event, from 6 to 9 pm. It would be the perfect thing to do with your Valentine or Galentine!
