Playgrounds for Grown-Ups

Tired of staring at a treadmill screen? Green Bay has fitness parks where you can work out under the sun, feel like a kid again, and maybe even spot a squirrel or two cheering you on.

Green Isle Fitness Zone in Allouez features ten workout stations arranged along the trail loop, including chest press machines, leg presses, pull-up bars, and even a sky walker. It's a great way to get a full-body workout while enjoying the park.

Klipstine Park in Ashwaubenon has a walking and running path tucked behind the community center, with stations along the way that include bars for stretching and calisthenics, cardio steppers, and climbing ropes.

Stretch, Breathe, and Pet a Goat at Yoga

Yoga at Paradise North

Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just want to lie down in a park without judgment, Green Bay has an outdoor yoga class with your name on it.

Unalome Yoga Studio hosts Sunrise Yoga on the City Deck as well as Sunset Slow Flow Sundayz. These all-level sessions give you options to scale up or down, depending on your comfort zone.

Voyageur Park in De Pere also has tons of great outdoor yoga options all summer long, including some unique offerings.

Therapy Dog Yoga: A mix of gentle yoga and cuddles from certified therapy dogs. What more could you want?

Goat Yoga: Just when you thought yoga couldn’t get any cuter than therapy dogs, along come the baby goats. De Pere teams up with a local farm to offer this once-a-summer session, where downward dog becomes downard goat!

Sunrise Serenity Yoga: For the early birds, this weekly class offers peaceful movement and a view of the Fox River, just as the sun starts to rise.

Yoga in the Park: A collaboration with Flow Yoga Studio that brings the community together for an all-ages class surrounded by nature. It's designed to refresh, reconnect, and recharge.

Hit the Trails

Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary

Green Bay and the surrounding areas have no shortage of beautiful trails to keep you moving outdoors. Walk, bike, or hike along the Fox River, East River, UW-Green Bay Cofrin Memorial Arboretum, Baird Creek, He-Nis-Ra Park, or Navarino Wildlife Area, just to name a few. Whether you're looking for paved paths or wooded escapes, there's a trail that fits.

Want something a little more structured? The Trail Fitness Walks at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary offer guided 45-minute walks with a naturalist every Tuesday at noon. It’s free, casual, and a great way to learn a few things while getting your steps in.
