The weather is absolutely perfect and the views around here are *chef’s kiss* which is why we’re officially declaring it Cozy Patio Dining Season™. Yes, this is a real thing; it’s the time of year when you can still enjoy a comfortable meal outdoors surrounded by the gorgeous autumn leaves.
As temperatures start to drop a little bit and football season gets into high gear, Green Bay's patios transform into cozy inviting spaces where you can experience the best of autumn. From fire pits to friendly seating areas, Green Bay’s restaurant patios have it all.
Here are some of the best spots to enjoy a meal this season!
Hinterland Brewery
Hinterland Brewery is located in the Titletown District, which is the perfect setting to enjoy a patio beer and a delicious farm-to-table meal. Grab a table under the shade of the umbrellas and keep a watchful eye on Lambeau Field while you enjoy a pint of Oktoberfest, or if you’re feeling fancy, a Crisp Fig Cider or Pumpkin Chai Martini.
Hagemeister Park
Hagemeister Park’s riverside patio offers an amazing view of the Fox River, perfect for enjoying a meal while taking in the autumn colors. Their menu has something for everyone, from hearty comfort food to lighter fare. And, once the temperatures start to dip, they bring out their igloos — clear enclosures fully equipped with pillows, blankets, candles, and more. Talk about cozy!
The Depot
Located inside the iconic Chicago & Northwestern Depot — one of the city's most recognizable landmarks — The Depot is a great pick if you’re looking for cozy vibes! The outdoor patio offers a blend of rustic charm and local history, making it a fun and laid-back spot to sip on a brew while watching the sunset or enjoy some casual pub fare with a great view of downtown.
Copper State Brewing Co.
Copper State Brewing Co. has a large communal Biergarten where you can meet up with good friends and make some new ones! The space has huge tables, cozy lighting, and firepits for ambiance and a little warmth once the sun goes down. Stop out for their weekly Jazz, Blues, and Brews event on Tuesdays. Oh, and the best part? Doggos are welcome. 🐶
The Bottle Room
Nestled just north of Green Bay in Suamico, The Bottle Room has one of the cutest patio spaces for gathering with friends to enjoy wine flights, charcuterie, and other tasty bites! We love spending time here because they have cozy seating and large fire pits so you can stay outside and enjoy your wine well into the evening without catching a chill.
Wissota Chophouse
Wissota Chophouse’s patio is the perfect setting for a sophisticated date night or outing. This is the newest restaurant on our list, and they’ve already made a name for themselves with their upscale, but creative, menu. We recommend the Pan-Seared Sea Scallops with Orange Basil Beurre Blanc or, if you want to go all out, the 18 Oz. 85-Day Dry Aged Bone-in Ribeye.
A'Bravo Bistro & Wine Bar
A'Bravo’s cozy patio is a hidden gem in the heart of Bellevue, offering a peaceful spot to enjoy seasonal small plates and creative cocktails. Set back off the road and surrounded by fall foliage, it’s the perfect place to enjoy brunch, lunch, or dinner with friends. We recommend the Burrata appetizer (great for sharing) and the Sesame Seared Yellowfin Tuna.
Fox Harbor Pub & Grill
Fox Harbor’s relaxed riverside patio is a fantastic spot for outdoor dining with a view. They even have 10 free-transit slips to accommodate boats of all sizes! The menu is not fussy, with classic pub food like Chili Lime Fish Tacos and Beer Cheese Burger. The patio at Fox Harbor is an extremely popular hangout spot so if you’re hoping for a table, you might want to get there early!
Studio 1212 Café & Wine Bar
Also located on the edge of the Fox River is Studio 1212 Café & Wine Bar. The modern yet cozy ambiance of their outdoor patio makes it a perfect fall escape, and it’s typically a little bit less busy than the other riverfront options on our list. This time of year, we recommend trying their Pumpkin-Ranch, Prosciutto, and Arugula Pizza… paired with your favorite vino of course!
Angelina Restaurant
This locally-owned gem offers a cozy and intimate patio that truly feels like you’ve escaped to a little corner of Italy. Enjoy classic Italian dishes alfresco on the patio under the canopy of trees and the soft glow of string lights. The best part? Angelina’s patio is fully heated so it can be enjoyed throughout the year, not just during Cozy Patio Dining Season™.
