There’s something soooo special about summer in Green Bay. Maybe it’s the way the waterfront comes alive, or how every weekend seems to bring a new festival, concert, or family event. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or you’ve been coming here for years, summer is hands-down one of the best times to experience everything that Green Bay has to offer. 

We’ve rounded up some of the can’t-miss events happening here this summer so you can start to plan your vacations and staycations! Just one quick note before we dive in, we aren’t including all of the awesome Farmers’ Markets in this list. We are writing a separate blog post JUST about the markets, so keep an eye out for that one coming in the next few weeks!

Sporting Events

Green Bay Rockers Baseball

Green Bay Rockers

Where: Capital Credit Union Park

When: 2025 Summer Schedule

The Green Bay Rockers are part of the Northwoods League, the largest organized summer collegiate baseball league in the world, with 22 teams. These games are a blast and draw in lots of fans who are ready to enjoy a family-friendly baseball experience. There are great concessions on site, lots of additional activities for kids, and special guests at most games!

Bellin Run 10K & 5K

Where: Webster Avenue in front of Bellin Hospital

When: June 14

Since the Bellin Run began 49 years ago, it has become one of the largest 10K races in the nation, with lots of local participation and runners from all over the world. Enjoy race events Friday night in Astor Park, as well as children's activities and a post-race celebration!

Packers 5K Run/Walk

Where: Lambeau Field

When: July 19

Join in on the fun for the 16th Annual Packers 5K Run/Walk! The race starts on Lombardi Avenue in front of the Lambeau Field Atrium and runs through the streets of Ashwaubenon, around the rubber track of Lambeau Field, and finishes on a 50-yard line in the parking lot.

Oneida Pow-Wow

Oneida Pow Wow

Where: Capital Credit Union Park

When: June 27-29

Mark your calendars and save the date for the 51st Oneida Pow Wow, happening June 27th through the 29th at the Norbert Hill Center in Oneida. This event is open to the public. Enjoy song and dance, shop at the amazing craft vendor booths, and enjoy delicious food!

Algoma Car Show

Where: Steele Street in Algoma

When: June 21

Algoma’s annual car show features many classes of show cars, trucks, and motorcycles throughout Downtown Algoma. Enjoy food, drink, and music. Entry is free for spectators!

Fire Over the Fox

Fireworks over downtown Green Bay

Where: Downtown Green Bay

When: July 4 from 3:00 to 10:30 pm

Celebrate the red, white, and blue with the biggest bash of the year on the 4th of July! Green Bay’s downtown waterfront will be packed as thousands of locals and guests flock to celebrate Independence Day. Enjoy live music, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and of course, a massive fireworks display at dusk.

Titletown Night Market

Where: Titletown

When: Thursdays from 4:30 to 8:30 pm

Come experience the vibrant, social atmosphere of the Titletown Night Market in the shadows of Lambeau Field! Every Thursday evening this summer, you can show up and shop from local vendors, enjoy live music from talented local bands, and sample all kinds of delicious goodies from local food trucks, food vendors, and on-site restaurants!

igNight Market

igNight Market

Where: Broadway District

When: June 21 and August 16 from 5:00 to 10:00 pm

This exciting traveling night market features local artisans and makers, interactive art demonstrations, original live music performances, life-size games, food, and drinks. Some side streets will also be transformed into a contemporary, open-air marketplace!

Ashwaubenon Food Truck Rallies

Where: Ashwaubomay Park

When: June 19, July 17, August 14, and September 11 from 4:30 to 8:30 pm

Four food truck rallies are happening this summer at Ashwaubomay Park, each one featuring a special event. Multiple food trucks will be on-site, as well as a beverage area where you can purchase soda, water, domestic, and craft beer. For June and July’s events, Ashwaubomay Lake will have extended swimming hours until 8:00 pm.

Hops on the Hill

Where: Heritage Hill State Park

When: July 24

Enjoy craft beer, wine, and spirits at this beloved annual event. Tailgate-themed stations with food pairings from Minzo’s Kitchen will be available, as well as a silent auction full of curated unique experiences, a 50/50 raffle, and live music from NUstalgic!

Art Events

First Friday Art in Algoma

Where: Downtown Algoma

When: June 6, July 4, and August 1 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm

On the first Friday of each month, Algoma’s art galleries, studios, and stores open their doors for an evening of art exhibition, opening receptions where you can often meet the artists, sales, refreshments, great conversation, and hands-on activities. Enjoy art of all mediums, start or add to an art collection, and get inspired by the talented artists who call Algoma home!

ArtFest Green Bay

Where: Downtown Green Bay

When: July 19 and 20 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm

The streets of Downtown Green Bay will come alive with an art fair, musical performances, food, demonstrations, and interactive activities for the whole family. Discover works from a wide variety of local, regional, and national artists. From paintings to sculptures, photography to mixed media, you will be sure to find something to take home with you!

Grooves in the 'Garten

Where: Howard Commons Biergarten

When: Every Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm

Enjoy free live music in the Howard Commons Biergarten! Hear music by popular local artists representing a variety of genres. The Biergarten has a selection of local craft beers on tap, local wines, and a selection of canned domestic and microbrews, as well as soda, water, and light snacks. Hydrant Pizza, ice cream, and snacks are also available inside the pavilion!

Fridays on the Fox

City Deck

Where: CityDeck

When: Every Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm

Fridays on the Fox is your ultimate destination for live music, drinks, and gorgeous sunset views of the Fox River. Some seating is available, but you can also bring a lawn chair for a guaranteed spot. Hagemeister Park serves food and drinks on their patio starting at 5 p.m.

Wine Down Thursdays

Ledgestone Vineyards

Where: LedgeStone Vineyards

When: Every Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm

Hear music by local and national acts at LedgeStone Vineyards! Bring a chair or blanket and pick a spot in front of the stage. Plenty of food options are available at the vineyard, along with wine and craft beers. Sorry, no alcohol or food carry-ins (water and nonalcoholic drink carry-ins are allowed). Live in the Garden

Badger State Brewing Company

Where: Badger State Brewing Company

When: Every Friday from 7:00 to 10:00 pm

Spend your summer nights at Badger State with free outdoor weekly concerts in the Beer Garden. Obviously, you will also have an opportunity to enjoy their delicious craft beer, and there will be food trucks on site for dinner. Check out the lineup on their website!
