Fall Family Festival at the Green Bay Botanical Garden

Pumpkin Carving at the N.E.W. Zoo

Carve out some fun at the N.E.W. Zoo’s annual public Pumpkin Carving event from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkins) or grab a pumpkin provided by Piggly Wiggly and get creative! Enjoy complimentary pizza from Happy Joe’s and drinks from the zoo while you carve, and keep an eye out for a special visit from “Happy the Dog” himself! All carved pumpkins will be used to decorate the zoo for the North Shore Bank Zoo Boo, making your artwork part of the fun for all to enjoy. This is a free event open to the public.

Unleash your creativity with this hands-on workshop where you’ll craft your own hand-built clay pumpkin—no experience needed! Starting at 6:00pm, you’ll spend about an hour shaping your pumpkin from a ball of clay, guided step-by-step by expert instructors. Once you’re done, your new piece of fall decor will be fired and glazed with the studio color of your choice. This event is perfect for ages 14 and up. Turnaround time for firing is 2 to 2.5 weeks, so you’ll have your pumpkins ready before Halloween!
