Fall around Green Bay is a good excuse to spend a little time on the farms. From pumpkin patches and corn mazes to apple orchards and working dairy farms, agriculture is a big part of what makes fall in Northeast Wisconsin so special. Whether you're searching for pumpkins, stocking up on local apples or just looking for an afternoon outside, these local farms and orchards are worth adding to your fall plans.
E&T Pumpkin Junction
If pumpkins are the main event, E&T Pumpkin Junction is a good place to start. This De Pere pumpkin patch grows more than 70 varieties of pumpkins, giving you plenty to choose from whether you're looking for the perfect carving pumpkin or something a little different for the front porch.
There's plenty to do beyond pumpkin picking, too. Spend some time making your way through the corn maze and mini maze, visit the animals, climb the hay mountain or let the kids loose on the bounce pad. With snacks, live music and plenty of fall activities throughout the season, it's an easy spot to turn pumpkin shopping into the perfect fall afternoon outing.
Misty Ridge Orchard
Misty Ridge Orchard brings together two fall essentials: apples and plenty of things to do outside. The orchard offers a large selection of pre-picked apples, along with pumpkins, gourds and other seasonal finds.
Come hungry because the orchard store is filled with fall treats, including fresh cider donuts, caramel apples, homemade apple pies, apple cider and cider slushies. Once you've stocked up, head outside for the corn maze, visit the goats and donkeys or check out the swings, sandpit and other activities around the property.

Oneida Nation Apple Orchard
With tons of apple trees spread across the orchard, the Oneida Nation Apple Orchard has deep roots in local agriculture. McIntosh, Cortland and Honey Gold are the orchard's most commonly grown varieties, alongside many other types of apples you’ll find throughout the property.
The orchard is about more than the fall harvest. It's part of the Oneida Nation's larger commitment to agriculture, local food and caring for the land. Depending on the season and growing conditions, visitors can also find fresh produce and other locally grown products, making it a great place to see another side of the area's agricultural story.
Blaser's Acres
Blaser's Acres has become a familiar fall stop in the Green Bay area, and its farm in Suamico makes it easy to stock up on seasonal favorites close to home. Pumpkins take center stage in the fall, but you'll also find metal yard art, mums, maple syrup, baked goods and other locally made and grown products. It's the kind of place where you can stop in for a pumpkin and leave with enough fall goodies to fill the car.
For more fall fun, Blaser's Acres recently opened a second location just outside of Brown County in Abrams. This new location has plenty to keep families busy, including a 15-acre corn maze, duck races, animals, bounce houses, fall photo opportunities and so much more. It's a good option for families looking to spend a few hours outside and make the most of the fall season.
Heim's Hillcrest Dairy
Pumpkins and apples aren't the only way to experience agriculture in the fall. Heim's Hillcrest Dairy in Algoma offers a look at the dairy farming that has shaped Northeast Wisconsin for generations.
The family farm dates back to 1963, when Ray and Florence Heim purchased the property and began farming with just 30 cows. Today, multiple generations of the Heim family continue the operation, which has grown into a modern dairy farm while keeping its family roots at the center. Keep an eye out for public events and opportunities to experience the farm throughout the year.

BerryLand
We're venturing just outside the Green Bay area for this one, but BerryLand is worth the short drive north to Abrams. Its fall season centers around the pumpkin patch, with pumpkins, squash, gourds, mums, corn stalks and plenty of Instagram worthy spots around the farm.
On weekends, visitors can hop aboard a hayride that includes a trip to the pumpkin patch to choose a pumpkin. Games and fall activities round out the experience, making BerryLand an easy option for families looking to spend a few hours outside before heading home with a pumpkin in tow.
Make a Day of It
You don't have to travel far to find a little country in the Green Bay area. Local farms, orchards and growers offer a chance to slow down, spend some time outside and see where some of our favorite fall traditions begin. Grab a bag of apples, find a pumpkin that barely fits in the trunk and enjoy a little piece of Northeast Wisconsin agriculture while the season lasts!
