Fat biking has exploded in popularity over the past decade, giving cyclists a way to stay on two wheels no matter the season. And lucky for us, Green Bay is a fantastic fat biking destination with miles of scenic routes to explore all year long.
What is Fat Tire biking?
Fat biking started as a way for cyclists to ride on snow and soft terrain like mud and sand. The defining feature? Extra-wide, grippy, low-pressure tires that provide better traction and a smoother ride on rough surfaces. Tackle snowy winter trails, cruise through the mud during the spring thaw, crunch your way through fall leaves, and speed your way through summer. No matter what season you’re exploring Green Bay, fat bikes add a little extra adventure to your ride.
