This month, you’ll have the rare chance to cap off your draft weekend with another one-of-a-kind football experience, happening right here in the heart of Titletown.
The Gridiron Greats Celebrity Flag Football Game is taking place on Sunday, April 27 at noon at Capital Credit Union Park. Whether you’re a lifelong local or you’re traveling to Green Bay for the Draft, the Gridiron Greats event is a must.
Here’s what you need to know about this star-studded event:
What is Flag Football?
If you’ve never watched or participated in a flag football game, you might not be sure what to expect. Like traditional football, flag football is packed with big plays, quick moves, and end-zone celebrations. But instead of tackles, players just pull flags from each other’s belts to stop the action. So, it’s much safer, but still just as entertaining to watch. In fact, flag football will become an official Olympic sport starting at the 2028 games in Los Angeles. Hopefully, it lasts a little bit longer than breakdancing did! 😄
A First for Green Bay
This is the first time a celebrity flag football game of this scale has come to Green Bay. Attendees will get to see a mix of former NFL legends, entertainers, reality TV personalities, and media figures go head-to-head in a high-energy showdown.
But it’s not just about the game. The day will also feature exclusive opportunities for fans to meet their favorite players and celebrities and take advantage of autograph signings, photo ops, and meet-and-greets.
Each participant is donating their time and talents to be part of this event, and proceeds from these special appearance add-ons will go directly to the charities of their choice.

And leading the charge as celebrity team captains are none other than NFL Hall of Famers Dave Robinson and Jerry Kramer, two iconic Green Bay Packers who helped shape the game as we know it today!
A Day of Football, Fun, and Giving Back
This event is all about celebrating football culture and giving back. Country music artist Frank Ray will kick off the festivities with a live performance of the National Anthem.
