Work may be what brought you to Green Bay, but it doesn’t have to be all you experience. Whether you have a few minutes between sessions, a free evening after the last presentation, or an entire day to explore, there are plenty of ways to make the most of your time in Titletown.
Breakout Session #1: You Have 30 Minutes
Sometimes, you don’t have time for a full adventure. You just need to get out of the hotel.
Head to the Lambeau Field Atrium for a quick dose of Packers history and art, grab something from the Packers Pro Shop, or head outside and follow the Oneida Nation Walk of Legends and learn the fascinating history of the Oneida Nation’s contributions to Packers history. Even if you don’t have time for a stadium tour, it’s worth making a quick stop at one of Green Bay’s most iconic landmarks.
Need a little fresh air? Take a quick stroll along the CityDeck or De Pere Riverwalk and enjoy views of the Fox River—you may even catch a glimpse of our resident pelicans!
If you just need a quiet reset, trade conference coffee for a visit to one of Green Bay’s local coffee shops. A quick caffeine run is extra refreshing when it doesn’t come from an industrial-sized urn.
Breakout Session #2: You Have a Couple Hours
With a little more time, you can do a little more exploring!
Head downtown or to the Broadway District and wander through the Neville Public Museum, browse the shops and restaurants, or do a little self-guided tour of public art around the area. For something a little different, stop by The Automobile Gallery, where you can admire a collection of classic and collectible cars in a historic downtown building.
If you need to stretch your legs after a day of sitting, Titletown is another great option. Take a stroll through the grounds, play some giant games, grab a bite, or head to the top of Ariens Hill and enjoy the view. Depending on the season, you’ll also find plenty of activities and events happening throughout this community space, so check the event calendar before you go.
Breakout Session #3: Your Workday Is Over
The laptop is closed. The name badge is off. What are your evening plans?
Green Bay has a thriving brewery scene, making it easy to trade your PowerPoint for a pint. Grab a drink at one of the city’s local breweries or order a flight and try a little bit of everything. Many of the city’s breweries also feature live music, yard games, and cozy firepit seating, making them the perfect place to unwind after a busy day.
Looking for something outside the box? Challenge your coworkers to a little friendly competition bowling at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley or Buzz Social, channel your inner lumberjack at Green Bay Escape & Axe, or stop in to Player 2 Arcade Bar and pair drinks with retro gaming.
Breakout Session #4: You Have a Free Day
If your schedule leaves you with an entire day to explore, you can see even more of what makes Green Bay unique.
If getting outdoors is your priority, spend some time wandering through the Green Bay Botanical Garden, taking a Segway the Fox Tour and enjoying views of the Fox River, downtown landmarks and historic neighborhoods, or visiting one of the area’s many beautiful parks. Bonus: Bring your discs and get a game of disc golf in at Pamperin Park, Baird Creek, Legion Park, Perkins Park, or the Shorewood Disc Golf course at UW-Green Bay.
You could also spend the day discovering a different side of Green Bay’s history and culture. Explore the National Railroad Museum, visit the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, or take a trip to the Mulva Cultural Center in nearby De Pere for immersive exhibits and experiences.
And, of course, now you’ve got time for the full Lambeau experience. Explore the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame, take a Lambeau Field Stadium Tour, or try the Packers Heritage Trail Trolley Tour to learn about more than 100 years of Green Bay and Packers history as you ride along the Packers Heritage Trail.
After all, work may be the reason you came to Green Bay, but a little free time is your chance to find out why there are plenty of reasons to come back.
