Bubble tea is one of the best “little sweet treats” out there. 🧋 The flavored tea is so refreshing, and you get to add in all kinds of fun toppings to change up the texture and flavor. It’s so much fun!
Now, we understand that Green Bay might not be the first place you think of when you think of bubble tea, but there are some really good options that the locals are more than happy to line up for. Here are our favorite go-to spots when that bubble tea craving hits!
Pink Guava
614C Bodart Street
The best day of the year is when Pink Guava opens up in the spring after taking their winter break. Getting your bubble tea fix at their adorable walk-up window is SUCH a treat because of the almost limitless customization options. Choose your tea flavor(s), then choose your preferred sweetness level, and finally, pick your toppings! They have traditional boba, popping boba, jellies, brown sugar, cheese mousse, mango chunks, and more. Honestly, you could order a drink here every single day and never have to repeat a combination!
Boba Bae
2321 S Oneida Street and 1981 E Mason Street
Boba Bae is another local hot spot with an almost endless menu of bubble tea options. First, you choose what consistency you want for your tea (smoothie, latte, slushie, or flavored tea), and then you choose the drink flavor (or flavors). Some of their fan favorites include milk tea, lavender, strawberry, and taro. Then, you can choose if you want boba or jelly toppings. If plain tapioca boba is your fave, awesome. But if you want to try something fruitier, they have kiwi, passion fruit, mango, and a bunch of other options, too!
Bambu Green Bay
424 Military Avenue
Bambu is a hidden gem tucked into Military Avenue that deserves a top spot on any local bubble tea list. The vibe inside is calm and cozy, and the drinks? Next level. Bambu specializes in Vietnamese-style chè drinks, which are a little different from your standard bubble tea but equally (if not more!) delicious. Think sweet coconut milk, grass jelly, pandan jelly, red beans, and boba all layered in one cup. It’s a treat and a texture party for your mouth! But, if you’re looking for something more classic, they have plenty of milk teas and fruit teas too.
The Eggroll Foodtruck Restaurant & Bar
100 S Broadway
Don’t let the name fool you… this place is NOT just about eggrolls (although they are fantastic). The Eggroll Foodtruck has expanded into a brick-and-mortar spot downtown, and they have a great selection of bubble tea flavors that range from traditional to creative. Just like the other places we’ve mentioned, you can choose your sweetness level and customize your toppings with options like classic tapioca pearls, fruity poppers, or even pudding. They also recently started offering an ice cream bubble tea option, which is going to be perfect for summertime!
Q Tea Premium Tea House
124 Military Avenue
Q Tea is another local fave with a huge variety of drinks. Whether you’re in the mood for something creamy and rich, like a royal milk tea, or something light, like a jasmine green tea, they are bound to have it on their menu. If you want something extra indulgent, their Purple Oreo is fantastic, and it pairs really well with the coffee jelly. Fun fact: the jellies at Q Tea are made with coconut water, so they're vegetarian-friendly!
Bubblelicious Bubble Tea
Inside the Bay Park Square Mall
Bubblelicious is a fun little stop right inside the mall, but their drinks are anything but basic. They offer smoothies, slushies, fruit teas, and milk teas, plus all the toppings your heart desires. It’s fun to watch the drinks being made, and their menu is really easy to understand because they break it up by milk teas, tiger teas (drinks that have “stripes” of brown sugar syrup), tea lattes, non-dairy fruit teas, and boba shakes. If you can’t decide, we recommend trying the Strawberry Matcha Tea Latte with strawberry popping boba!
PhoComa
154 N Broadway
PhoComa is one of those places that does everything well. Locals are obsessed with their pork belly pho and stuffed chicken wings, but their bubble tea menu is super solid as well. The chocolate bubble tea with tapioca pearls is the perfect post-dinner dessert drink, or for something a little more refreshing on a warm day, we recommend the green tea bubble tea with peach boba or the dragon fruit bubble tea with lychee jelly. Soooo good!
