Winter has come to Green Bay in full force, and that can only mean one thing… it’s time to fly down some snowy hills at questionable speeds!

The Green Bay area has plenty of sledding hills, but which ones are truly the best of the best? We asked locals online and in real life to share their go-to spots for sledding, tubing, and racing to the bottom. From legendary hills to hidden gems, here are Green Bay’s most-loved sledding hills.

Triangle Sports Area at Baird Creek

Triangle Sports Sledding Winter

500 Beverly Rd, Green Bay, WI 54311

Locals crowned this the top sledding spot, and it’s not hard to see why it takes the title.

Triangle Sports Area at Baird Creek has a heated chalet, restrooms, concessions, and an 80-foot tubing hill that comes with a magic carpet lift (no uphill trudge necessary!).

Tubing is $7 per person, and tubes are provided. Grab your pass at the rentals building on the west end of the park. A base of 8–12 inches of snow is needed before tubing opens, so be sure to check their Facebook page for daily updates on conditions before heading out.

Titletown - Ariens Hill

Titletown Sledding Winter

1941 True Ln, Green Bay, WI 54304

Another frequently mentioned hill is, of course, the iconic Ariens Hill at Titletown in Ashwaubenon.

One local shared: “Such a pretty place to go sledding. They have community nights on Monday, where it is cheaper to sled or skate. Definitely somewhere to go at least once in the winter!”

And another made a good case for visiting if you’re into high-speed thrills: “One of the best hills ever, if not the BEST! The speed that you get to while going down will make you want to go for more. Perfectly groomed hill and fun for hours!”

And last but not least, this ringing endorsement: “The view at the top of the hill of Lambeau was breathtaking. (The 78 steps to the top were worth it😀)”

Sliding down a beautifully groomed hill with Lambeau in the background? That’s a core Green Bay memory right there. (Plus, you’ll get your steps in!)

Josten Park

2280 Town Hall Rd, Green Bay, WI 54311

Josten Park was another frequently mentioned fav. The east side park offers a variety of hill heights, making it great for all ages, and it’s also lit at night, so you can keep the fun going until 10:00 pm.

Webster Park

2111 Jourdain Ln, Green Bay, WI 54301

Webster Park came up again and again in our local recommendations, especially for families.

“As one nostalgic Reddit user put it, ‘Sledding at Webster was the best as a kid! Good times…’”

Another local, Reddit user acopper87, shared: “It's a great hill with an easy way up and a good steep side. You can go really far with the right snow. And there's a light at the top of the hill. My kids love it.”

Fireman’s Park

1701 W Mason St, Green Bay, WI 54304

This one sparked instant winter nostalgia for many locals. Fireman’s Park has been a beloved sledding spot for decades. Several locals told us it was their favorite hill as kids, and in some cases, their parents’ favorite too!

Meadowbrook Park

670 Hillcrest Heights, Howard, WI 54313

Head to Howard for a little wooded sledding adventure! It’s a little harder to find, but that’s what makes it a hidden gem!

One Green Bay resident said, “Awesome wide hill and also a hill that you can send through the woods with.”

Zirbel Hill

352 High St, Wrightstown, WI 54180

This 5-acre hill is a favorite for those willing to take a quick drive just outside Green Bay. With wide open runs and plenty of space to spread out, it’s perfect for groups and families who want room to play without feeling crowded.

Best Hills for Little Sledders

While many of the hills above have areas suitable for younger kids, locals also shared some go-to spots that are especially great for smaller sledders and first-timers.

Kiwanis Park

2362 Old Ivy Ct, De Pere, WI 54115

A moderately sized hill with lots of open space and 360 degrees of sledding options. It’s big enough to be fun, but not so steep that it’s overwhelming for little ones.

De Pere Community Center

600 Grant St, De Pere, WI 54115

Green Bay Reddit user Both_Marsupial_7778 shared: “Not that I wanna give away this super prime spot, but the hill by the De Pere community center is perfect for little kids up to 10-ish.”

Consider yourself officially in the know.

Sand Acres Park

3687 Misty Meadow Ln, De Pere, WI 54115

Recommended by several locals as a great place for kids who aren’t quite ready for high-speed adventures. It’s also right next to a playground, which makes it easy to take play breaks between sledding runs.
