Around here, dogs aren’t just pets, they’re part of the crew. They ride shotgun on errands, hang out at happy hour, and get more love from strangers than most people do. So it’s no surprise that Greater Green Bay is packed with places that roll out the red carpet for our four-legged friends.
For this edition of our Ask a Local series, we sniffed out the best dog-friendly spots in town with help from our Green Bay neighbors. From off-leash hangouts and brewery patios to scenic trails and splashy end-of-summer dips, these are the places locals love to take their pups.
Bark & Brew
2514 Glendale Ave, Green Bay, WI 54313
With “bark” right in the name, you already know this place is the real deal. Bark & Brew is the go-to hangout for dogs and their humans. Indoor and outdoor off-leash spaces? Check. A dog menu? Check. Dog butlers? YES, PLEASE. This place takes pet-friendliness to the next level. With over 70 craft beers, themed events, and daily specials (including your dog’s birthday party!), Bark & Brew is a fan favorite for a reason.
Zambaldi Beer
1649 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
Zambaldi’s patio is dog-friendly every night, but Monday is truly the dog’s day. One local shared: “Monday nights are dedicated to dogs on their patio. There’s even a dog food truck!” We don’t know who enjoys this more, the dogs or the humans!
Cocoon Brewing
2233 Kaftan Wy, De Pere, WI 54115
Another brewery, another pup-approved patio. Cocoon Brewing in De Pere offers cozy vibes with a twist: their rentable “cocoons” (mini cabins) make any gathering feel special. Bring your dog, sip a beer, and enjoy games like shuffleboard or cribbage while soaking up the fresh air.

215 N Henry St, Green Bay, WI 54302
Stillmank doesn’t just welcome dogs on the patio—they’re invited inside. You and your pup can cozy up in their rustic taproom while sampling handcrafted beers. One local put it best: “They welcome them inside!” Tail wags all around.
Cycling Brews
1109 Honey Ct, De Pere, WI 54115
Cycling Brews in De Pere is dog-friendly inside and out. Located near the Fox River Trail, it’s a natural stop for bikers, walkers, and of course, their four-legged sidekicks. Stop in during Fido’s walk for a cold beer, a quick snack, a refill of your water, and fun conversation.
Cheesesteak Rebellion
1301 S Broadway, Green Bay, WI 54304
Star Wars fans and sandwich lovers rejoice! This quirky, delicious favorite is also a hit with dog owners. Grab a cheesesteak, head to the patio, and let your dog join the rebellion. Bonus points if your dog is named Chewie.
