It’s summer, which means grilling season is officially here. But who wants to stand in front of a hot grill, flipping burgers? No one… especially when there are so many other fun things to do!
So, we’ve gone ahead and rounded up a list of really great burgers you can get right now in Green Bay. These are burgers that have a little something *extra* going on for the foodies out there. Going through this list is SO much easier than grilling your own burgers — the only thing you have to do is choose which one you want to try first!
The Steakhouse @ Delilah’s
This stick-to-your-ribs burger is made with USDA prime sirloin and topped with high-end and high-flavor ingredients like grilled vidalia onions, horseradish, oyster mushrooms, and gorgonzola. The burger is served on a pretzel bun alongside house chips and of course, pickles. Oh, and pro tip: you’re going to want to order a round of Mini D’s mini donuts for the table!
Rock & Hill Wagyu Farm Beef Burger @ Chefusion
This foodie-friendly burger starts with 8 ounces of fresh American Kobe beef. Then, it’s topped with caramelized onions and mini greens and served on a house-made roll. Take your burger to the next level by adding six-year cheddar, a fried egg, and Nueske bacon (aka, the best bacon ever). This burger is listed as a small plate on the menu, but it will definitely fill you up!
The Ultimate Brunch Burger @ The Creamery
This burger is legit. It’s designed to satisfy your appetite for both breakfast AND lunch and it definitely does. This generous burger comes topped with foodie favorite ingredients like smoked gouda, avocado, bacon, fried egg, heirloom tomato, and hollandaise. They really nailed it by choosing the best parts of brunch and putting it on top of a burger.
That Good Ol’ Green Bay Burger @ Nicky’s Lionhead Restaurant
This juicy char-broiled burger is Nicky’s best-selling burger. At first glance, it may just seem like a basic burger with typical toppings like ketchup, pickles, onion, and your choice of cheddar or American cheese. But what makes this burger extra special is the pat of melty Wisconsin butter they put on top. If you’ve never had a butter burger before, you’re in for a real treat.
Elk El Jefe Burger @ Brickhouse Burgers and Brew
It’s hard to pick just one item to feature at Brickhouse because burgers are their specialty! But the Elk El Jefe Burger rises to the top because of its interesting flavor profile. It starts with an elk patty, which is then topped with Caribbean red pepper jack cheese, avocado poblano ranch sauce, black bean corn salsa, jalapeño popper, lettuce, and avocado.
The Big Hinty Burger @ Hinterland
Discover the ultimate burger experience with two-quarter pound Rock & Hill Wagyu beef patties, creamy American cheese, fresh mixed greens, tangy pickles, zesty onions, and house-made Hinterland sauce, all nestled in a soft brioche bun. This burger perfectly captures Green Bay's culinary spirit and is a must-try for anyone looking to savor the rich, local flavors that make our city special.
