1. Green Bay Area Parks

With more than 100 parks in the area, you could visit a new one every week and still have more to explore. These area parks offer everything from playgrounds and picnic spots to trails, creeks, and wide-open spaces perfect for running around.
Local favorites include Pamperin Park, which features a large inclusive playground, scenic wooded areas, and Duck Creek winding through. Optimist Park in Allouez is another great pick with its accessible play equipment and rubber-surfaced ball field. 4. Green Bay Children’s Museum

At Green Bay Children's Museum, play and learning go hand in hand. Kids can explore interactive exhibits that encourage imagination, movement, and curiosity. 16. Green Bay Botanical Garden

Green Bay Botanical Garden is a beautiful place to explore nature as a family, and maybe even do a little spring frolicking. The Bell Children’s Garden is especially designed for hands-on play and discovery. This 2.5-acre area features a splash pad, treehouses, maze, koi pond, iconic Hobbit Hole restrooms, and lots more to keep kids busy.
17. Midwest Super Speedway

For the adrenaline-junky family, Midwest Super Speedway is one of the best places to get that heart pumping. They offer junior racing so young drivers can safely experience the thrill of racing on a real track, and there are also options for family races, so everyone can get in on the action. Children must be at least 6 years old, at least 48” tall, and able to reach the pedals safely to participate.
18. Public Pools & Splash Pads
When summer heat hits, splash pads and pools are a must. Green Bay has multiple free splash pads and wading pools scattered throughout the city. 20. National Railroad Museum
Train lovers will feel right at home at the National Railroad Museum. Kids can explore historic trains, climb aboard railcars, and learn about the world of railroading. One of the highlights is seeing massive locomotives up close, including some truly impressive engines, like the Union Pacific #4017, also known as the Big Boy, weighing in at 1.1 million pounds!
