GREEN BAY, WIS – The Great Lakes Timber Professionals Association is bringing back the annual Great Lakes Logging and Heavy Equipment Expo to the Green Bay area for the first time since 2010. The 76th annual event is open to the public and will take place on September 8-10, 2022 at the Resch Complex.
Wisconsin’s forests and paper-making industry are one of the state's most significant economic drivers with over $24 billion in economic output. Brown County and the Fox Valley are home to the nation’s number one paper producers supported with raw material harvested from the most sustainably managed forests in the Great Lakes Region.
Often referred to as the “Loggers Holiday” the Expo showcases every aspect o the forest industry and will be attended by more than 8,000 visitors during the 3-day event.
The Logging Expo promotes what GLTPA members and supporters do best, “Enhancing a Multiple Use Forest for Future Generations.” The Expo is designed to showcase forest products used for daily life and how modern techniques are used in the sustainable management of this magnificent renewable resource, our forests. Sustainable forest management goes hand in hand with creating wildlife habitats, recreational opportunities, clean air, and clean water.
With the addition of the new Resch Expo, GLTPA’s Exhibitors are afforded the perfect venue to showcase their products and services offered to a variety of attendees including landowners who may need management services, professional loggers and truckers, and the novice firewood cutter.
Come join us as we “Let the Sawdust Fly” with wood carvers, portable sawmills, firewood processors, the BARKO Log Loader Competition, The Forwarder Challenge, Mini Excavator Competition and more.
