Tourism Insider Program
Become a Tourism Insider
Have you or your staff ever been faced with the following questions:
- Are there any events or festivals going on?
- What can we do in the middle of winter?
- Do you know of any good steakhouses?
- First time in Green Bay. What is a must see?
- Is there anything to do here with the kids?
The Tourism Insider Program can help you answer these questions and more!
The Greater Green Bay Convention & Visitors Bureau is excited to invite you and your staff to become TOURISM INSIDERS. The Tourism Insider Program (TIPs) is a 2.5 hour interactive training that will arm you with great information about the area to help visitors navigate their way through our community any time of the year.
Once you complete the training, you will become a Certified Tourism Insider and will receive a certificate and pin to proudly display for visitors. You'll also get a Quick Facts Guide with Frequently Asked Questions and quick suggestions to keep at your business for reference.
More than 400 people in the area have graduated from this fun, informative, one-time training and have become more knowledgeable about all the great things our community has to offer! In 2.5 hours, you’ll learn about unique attractions we have year-round, restaurants for any type of visitor, get a history lesson on how our community came to be, learn how to give great directions and be able to build a fun filled itinerary for visitors in no time!
Classes are limited to the first 30 people. The cost is only $10 per person.
The next TIPs training will be held Thursday, September 5 at 2 pm at Green Bay Botanical Garden (2600 Larsen Road, Green Bay)
