Go Beyond Football

Make the Most of Game Weekends in Green Bay

Making it to a game at iconic Lambeau Field is on the bucket list for all professional football fans, whether rooting for the green and gold or a visiting team. It's one of the most iconic venues in professional sports and home to one of the most treasured teams in professional football, the Green Bay Packers. But there's so much more to explore. You'll definitely want to plan an extra night or two in order to take advantage of all the food, fun, and adventure here in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Plus, flying into Green Bay is easy. Austin Straubel International Airport is served by American, United, Delta, Frontier and Sun Country and is easily accessible.

No matter who you're traveling with you'll need to plan a full day (outside of game day) to explore the Lambeau Field Area. The stadium tour is among the best in professional sports, and the same goes for the iconic Hall of Fame. Then explore Titletown, where you can test your 40-yard-dash times, let the kids go wild on the playground or grab a beer and dinner at one of the many restaurants in the park. The area is programmed every day, so there's always something going on at Titletown.

  • Going to Green Bay for a game is a great getaway for an unforgettable guy's trip. And what's a guys trip without hitting the links? You'll need to add a day for golf. Wisconsin is consistently rated as the #1 state for public access golf by Golf Digest. With golf and football season overlapping for early and mid-season games, you'll have plenty of chances to hit the links. You'll also need to plan some time for a stop at Oneida Casino. The gaming floor is full of table games, slots and more! Plus, the new Oneida Sports Book is a great way to spend an evening full of sports, food and fun with the boys. The gearheads in the group will insist on a trip to the Automobile Gallary to explore the more than 300 classic, rare cars on display. You also can't miss the brewery scene in Green Bay. With over a dozen options for micro-brewies in the area, your group will surely find a new fav brew.

  • Your football-crazy family will never forget their trip to Lambeau Field. The game-day action is great, but they may remember their adventures outside the gridiron even more!  After your day exploring Lambeau, enjoy a great family dinner and fun at The Turn powered by Top Golf. Make sure to book a swing suite. Mom and Dad can take a few swings, and the kids will love Zombie Dodgeball and other games. Make sure to add a day or two to explore everything from engaging museums to incredible outdoor recreation; every family member will find their favorite stop on the trip. You can explore classic trains and tour engaging exhibits at the National Railroad Museum. Don't miss the NEW Zoo and Adventure Park. The amazing animal exhibits are WILD; take the canopy tours to see exhibits from above for a new perspective. Then, test out the Adventure Park, where the whole family can try rock climbing, zip lining, and ropes courses. The Green Bay Botanical Garden is a day of adventure in itself. The new Bell Children's Museum is one of a kind in the mid-west. The tree house adventures and fun exhibits engage kids in fun and learning. You can satisfy every craving your family has at our many family-friendly restaurants

  • What's more romantic than football? Spending a game weekend in Green Bay is more than exploring the mecca of football together. Of course, you and your better half will need to explore Lambeau Field outside game day, but there's so much more to enjoy together. Explore the nature and beauty of Northeast Wisconsin by taking a romantic, quiet hike on one of many of our scenic trails. Or, explore our extensive wineries and breweries, which offer a plethora of live music and fun events. Ledgestone Vinyards is a great place to sample and enjoy great Wisconsin wine; don't miss out on their great food menu as well. Make sure to plan an afternoon exploring the Mulva Cultural Center. The brand-new one-of-a-kind space features galleries, exhibits, and restaurants for an unforgettable date night experience. Then, meander the streets of downtown De Pere for shopping, coffee, and more. Plan for a day in downtown Green Bay as well. You'll find cute shops, great restaurants from fine dining to casual, and great murals and art exhibits to explore. A date night prior to game day wouldn't be complete without a walk down City Deck, taking in the serene surroundings of the Fox River. If you're visiting during the holidays, you'll be immersed in a Hallmark movie experience surrounded by holiday lights and cheer!
