Brown County Historical Society’s “If Tombstones Could Talk” 2019 season begins at Fort Howard Memorial Park. The theme for the season is “Triumph & Tragedy” and the characters visitors will meet represent a wide range of time-periods and difference stances. Once these folks walked, laughed, worked, and contributed to our community. Now they are a memory of yesterday. Take a step back to their time and hear their stories of how these historic residents of Green Bay made great triumphs and overcame tragedies!
On Tuesday, June 11, we will host “If Tombstones Could Talk” inside the Fort Howard Chapel. This event is for those who have difficulty walking in the cemetery. Reservations are required due to limited seating.
On Wednesday & Thursday, June 12 & 13, “If Tombstones Could Talk” will take place outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Lightweight portable lawn chairs are welcome.
Take a guided walk through the cemetery as actors portray local residents from Green Bay's past. Tuesday's event will be held inside. Reservations are required. Wednesday and Thursday event is an outside event. Lightweight portable lawn chairs are welcome.Visit our website Add To Itinerary Add To Calendar
