The 1,800-square-foot mesh butterfly house will feature more than 20 species of butterflies native to Wisconsin and 300 new butterflies each week for a total of 4,500 butterflies throughout the entire summer!
In addition to the exhibit, a variety of family-friendly drop-in activities mixing pollinators, plants and play are available throughout the Garden daily.
Garden Discovery Boxes | 10 am-12 pm
Boxes placed throughout the Garden containing games and activities for kids.
Butterfly Feeding | 1-3 pm
Receive a feeding stick dipped with a tasty butterfly treat.
Scavenger Hunts | 9 am-8 pm
Hunt for clues and discover plants and animals in the Garden.
S.E.E.D. Packs | 9 am-8 pm
Search, Explore, Experience and Discover the Garden. Packs include short lessons, games and observation activities.
