Ahnapee Brewery played an integral part of beer-making history in the state of Wisconsin dating as far back as 1868. In the 1800s their short statured Civil War veteran brewer (Name sake for Little Soldier), began brewing beer in Algoma and unknowingly set the stage for the future. A new chapter in the brewery’s history began in 2013 in Algoma in a two stall garage-turned-taproom. In 2020 Ahnapee Brewery set in motion its newest chapter, the addition of a brewery & taproom location in Suamico, WI. The Northern Green Bay brewery features a heated outdoor patio during the cool months, four garage doors that open in the summer months and a rotating line of 16 craft beers brewed on site.
Enjoy brews from Two Stall, their multi-award-winning Chocolate Milk Stout, to their Great American Beer Festival winning Helles Lager, and all styles in-between. Year-round offerings, seasonal brews, experimental one-off beers and barrel aged limited releases are readily available at the taproom. The open concept, yet cozy taproom features snacks which accompany great service, friendly conversations and of course 16 different fresh craft beer. Delivery or carry in food from local restaurants is encouraged. Take home a 6-pack, a freshly filled growler or a special release brew from Ahnapee's ever growing portfolio.
