End-of-Summer Events

We're officially closing out Summer 2022 and September is jam-packed with amazing events happening in Green Bay! Once again, Lambeau Field will be hosting the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Saturday, September 10 (register in advance if you would like to participate). And speaking of Lambeau, the Packers take on their longtime rival, the Chicago Bears, on September 18. If you’re a fan, you’ll definitely want to be there!

Finally, September 24 is Badger State Brewing Company's annual OKT-OBERFEST event, so if you’re in the Stadium District during the day, stop by for some beer, live music, and fun!

Must-See Attractions

Just want to hang out and take it easy? There are so many places to check out while you’re visiting Green Bay, no reservations needed! Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary is a must-visit, especially if you have kids who like to feed ducks and geese. They sell corn for a dollar a bag, and we promise, you do get your money’s worth (the giggles alone are worth it).

The fishing is excellent this time of year, and you can hire a fishing charter to take you out on the water to all of the best fishing spots! Fish Anytime Charters is located in De Pere, and Haasch Guide Service and Fishin' Magician Charters are each just a few miles outside of town!

At night, gather up your friends or your family and face off in a game of mini golf at Duck Creek Golf Center or if the weather isn’t cooperating, try to bust out of an escape room at Green Bay Escape. They also offer axe throwing, so if you’re in the mood to throw sharp weapons across the room, this is where you want to be.

Tasty Treats

Of course, you’re going to want to try Green Bay’s best restaurants, breweries, wineries, and food shops while you’re visiting. For restaurants, we recommend Fox Harbor and Hagemeister Park this time of year. They both have outdoor seating overlooking the Fox River, so you can take in all of the summer vibes while you enjoy your meal (and maybe a cocktail or two).

If you’re looking for an after-dinner treat, you can’t go wrong with custard. Wisconsin is known for it, and when you’re in Green Bay, we recommend Zesty’s. Recently, Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe started selling homemade ice cream, and trust us when we say it’s WELL worth a visit.

Obviously, you’re looking to take a little bit of Green Bay home with you. Set aside some time to stop at Seroogy’s Chocolates for a meltaway bar (or ten). Then, go check out the brand new gift shop, LoCo Wisco, which is located downtown! They have all kinds of cute souvenirs, but also amazing local coffee, wine, cider, and more!
