Parks and Trails

Surrounded by nature, Green Bay offers a variety of ways to enjoy the great Wisconsin landscape. Gardens, sanctuaries and parks make up thousands of acres of natural spaces that can be enjoyed by visitors. Trails connect communities and encourage fun outdoor recreation. Whether it's rugged terrain for biking, admiring forest plant species or a stroll through some of the gardens, our green spaces have a little something for everyone. Featured above is the East River Trail near Green Isle Park.

National Railroad Museum

The National Railroad Museum strives to inspire lifelong learning by providing dynamic educational opportunities through the preservation of railroad objects, engaging exhibits and innovative programs on all things trains and railways. The museum maintains a noteworthy collection of railroad objects, photographs, manuscripts and rolling stock. You’ll find many trains on display, both inside the large exhibit hall and outside on actual working railroad tracks. The National Railroad Museum is home to the “Big Boy”, the world’s largest steam locomotive weighing in at 1.1 million pounds and measuring over half a football field long. Housed here is also the GG-1, America’s most famous electric locomotive.

Titletown

Titletown's Park is open to everyone all year round, with a winter skating rink and snow tubing hill (Ariens Hill), and in the summer outdoor games, fitness activities, a unique playground and a full-size football field in the heart of the action. There is also 46 Below bistro, sitting 46' beneath Ariens Hill, pays homage to the 1967 Ice Bowl at Lambeau Field, during which the wind chill temperature plummeted to 46 below zero. The bistro serves quick bites and comfort food, as well as drinks for park visitors.

Coffee Shops

The Attic offers a full service coffee and espresso bar, an extensive tea shop selling teapots and large bags of loose tea and a used book store as three integrated shops in one place. The full service coffee and espresso bar offers espresso drinks, unique specialty drinks, steamers, smoothies, frappes and more. Each day they brew a dark roast, medium roast and decaf organic or fair trade coffee. They also offer one daily special flavored coffee. All of their coffee is locally roasted and restocked weekly to maximize quality and ensure freshness.

Wineries & Breweries

Local Wineries and Breweries offer tours and tastings for you to experience the flavors of Greater Green Bay. A rapidly growing craft beer industry has found its niche in Green Bay. The flavors that a craft brewer can add to their product makes the beer uniquely their own. Here in Greater Green Bay, our entrepreneurs are thriving on their successful creations. All of our brewery owners are local...born and raised in Northeastern Wisconsin.

Locally grown, cold-hardy grapes supply some of the finest family-owned wineries in Northeastern Wisconsin. Each winery in the region has its own unique appeal. Some are located in historic buildings, and others have scenic vineyards to stroll. Whether it's a Cabernet, a Riesling or a spcialty "ice" wine, the selection is impressive.

Murals

Murals are starting to pop-up in Green Bay and offer great photo-ops for visitors and residents alike. The iconic mural on Dousman Street in Green Bay is part of "The Butterfly Effect," which is a movement that raises money for a specific cause. Art on Main has also been painting murals since 2014 to ignite passion and conversation by bringing art out of the galleries and onto the street.
