7 Coffee Shops to Get Your Caffeine Buzz On In Greater Green Bay

Cozy up with a cup of coffee or your favorite morning beverage at one of these seven locally-owned coffee shops. Enjoy the warm and welcoming atmosphere or take your cup of joe to-go.

Copper State Brewing Company

Find a coffee shop and brewery in one at Copper State Brewing Company. They proudly help to wake up downtown Green Bay, serving coffee and espresso drinks from their overly caffeinated cousin business, Copper Rock, starting at 6:30 am.

Whether you’re desperate for a caffeine boost in the morning to get you through that business meeting, enjoying some great craft beer out in the Biergarten, or seeking a memorable dining experience with your friends and family, look no further than Copper State.

Crystal Coffee Café & Beanery

Not only does coffee help as a tool to make people more productive, but it also serves as a helpful way to build community. Crystal Coffee is no stranger to this as they have been roasting coffee on site since 1995. Crystal Coffee Café & Beanery is an adorable family-owned coffee shop and deli located near Austin Straubel International Airport on Green Bay’s southwest side.

The cafe is welcoming and homey and filled with one-of-a-kind gift items that you’ll find hard to pass up. You also won’t leave hungry as they have a menu full of delicious food to keep you fueled for the day. In a hurry? They also have a convenient drive-thru window for grabbing coffee or food-to-go.

LaJava A Roasting House

LaJava is a roasting house specializing in small-batch coffee. They are dedicated to providing the highest quality Arabica coffee beans from select regions throughout the world. A wide variety of coffees are available from organic beans, fair-trade beans, shade-grown coffee beans and single estate beans. Their unique blends and a large selection of flavored coffees bring unique coffee experiences you'll remember.

At LaJava, you can enjoy a fresh cup of their brews of the day, specialty espresso drinks, fruit smoothies and many tea options. LaJava also serves breakfast and lunch sandwiches and wraps every day of the week.

Plus, you won’t find one, but four LaJava store locations in the Green Bay area.

Leaps & Bounds Café

Located in Lodge Kohler within Titletown, Leaps & Bounds is a cafe open for breakfast and lunch with an outdoor terrace located on the plaza level. Will it make you leap? We think so. The coffee bar includes coffee, espresso shots and drinks, tea, smoothies and other beverages. Stop by and try the nitro coffee on tap!

Luna Coffee & Roastery

A small-batch coffee roaster and café near the St. Norbert College campus in De Pere gives each batch of coffee individual attention in order to create the best-tasting coffee each and every time. Keeping production small ensures reaching the highest quality standards Luna Coffee is known for each and every time.

With its close proximity to St. Norbert College, this coffee shop is often buzzing with college students working on projects, writing papers, or escaping from busy schedules for just a bit. You can get some work done or browse the Internet looking for other things to do in Green Bay with Luna’s free wi-fi. Get a drink to go and walk over the bridge to stroll the De Pere River Walk and Wildlife Viewing Pier.

Staying on the east side? Have no fear, they now have a second location in Bellevue right off of Hwy 172 for your convenience.

Currently, due to the pandemic, the Bellevue location has a takeout window for orders on-site and they are offering free local deliveries to Green Bay and De Pere for coffee beans if you'd like to brew your own cup of coffee at home. You can place delivery orders on their website.

The Attic

A staple in the downtown Green Bay area that combines reading with coffee and tea. The Attic offers a full-service coffee and espresso bar, an extensive tea shop selling teapots and large bags of loose tea and a used book store as three integrated shops in one place. The full-service coffee and espresso bar offers espresso drinks, unique specialty drinks, steamers, smoothies, frappes and more.

Each day they brew a dark roast, medium roast and decaf organic or fair-trade coffee. They also offer one daily special flavored coffee. All of their coffee is locally roasted and restocked weekly to maximize quality and ensure freshness.

The Exchange Coffee, Mercantile & Eatery

The newest kid in town exists to be a culture creator and bring a life-giving atmosphere to the (920) marketplace and beyond. The Exchange serves their very own “Exchange Blend” of locally fresh roasted beans. They feature local roaster’s beans as well as Ruby, Hawthorne, Kickapoo and others at their slow brew bar and even offer coffee flights which we highly recommend trying.

There is an exhaustive and authentic espresso and loose leaf tea menu to choose from, plus their already famous chai tea. The variety of loose leaf teas can be made hot or iced or even into a milk tea latte! Offering almond, coconut, macadamia nut, & oat milk in addition to all dairy options.

In addition to their coffee and tea, The Exchange also offers a food menu and smoothie options you won’t want to pass up. While you wait for your order, be sure to browse the mercantile for beautiful and affordable products you can wear or use in your own home.

If you are looking to get a little work done, need a place to study, cozy up with your favorite beverage or want to venture on a café crawl, Greater Green Bay knows how to keep you caffeinated.
