The Story of Wisconsin Cheese
Open through July 8
From the farmer's herd to the cheese factory, visitors
of all ages will be enlightened and engaged by this extensive,
all-new exhibit. Say Cheese! includes rare historic artifacts,
photographs, and over a dozen hands-on activities. It
delves into Wisconsin's dairy history, tells the story
of cheese making and cheesemakers, and explains the science
of making cheese in a fun environment. Milk a cow, smell
cheddar cheese, dress as a cheesemaker or Alice in Dairyland,
listen to "cheesy" music, participate in cheese races,
and much more! |

International
Bayfest
June 8-10
The rich tradition of the festival continues downtown
Green Bay along the banks of the historic Fox River
at the Leicht Memorial Park festival grounds. Northeastern
Wisconsin’s largest food and music festival puts a spotlight
on the rich cultural heritage and diversity of the community.
International Bayfest presents continuous entertainment
on four stages, a carnival, an array of food, children’s
activities, a world market, boat parade, fireworks and
sports arena, all with an international flavor. In addition
to the festival, Cabela's National Team Championship
premier walleye tournament will take to the waters in
the bay on Friday and Saturday.

Father’s
Day at the Zoo
June 17
The NEW Zoo will be admitting all fathers into the Zoo
FREE of charge on Father's Day. The first 500 fathers
will receive a free melt-away candy bar, compliments of
Seroogy's Chocolates of DePere. A trip to the NEW Zoo
on Father’s Day will make the day special for everyone,
especially Dad! |

Wave Comes to Algoma
June 21-23
See a unique gathering of talented artists from around
the United States converge on historic downtown Algoma,
creating and recreating murals and faded ads on buildings
to enhance the historic significance of chosen locations.
See the ten sites and experience the evolution of art
and history as it unfolds. You can even participate with
the artists! |
