The National Railroad Museum is once again welcoming Thomas the Tank Engine™ to Packer Country June 14-18, 2006. Last year’s event was a phenomenal success, and this year the Museum is encouraging fans to buy tickets in advance to avoid sell-outs. A HOY, MATEY!
Mark your calendars, because this July 27-31 you’ll want to be no place other than at the Baylake Bank Tall Ship Festival!
One by one they will appear like ghosts on the horizon…wooden ships from another era, white sails billowing in the wind. Gathering off the shore of Green Bay, they will slowly make their way down the Fox River where thousands of spectators will greet them.
Majestic Tall Ships™ will sail through the Port of Green Bay as members of the largest armada of vessels ever to come to town. Their arrival will kick off a four-day festival in downtown Green Bay, July 27-31, offering tours and sailaways representing each ship’s unique story and theme. Green Bay is the only port in the state of Wisconsin to host the American Sail Training Association (ASTA) Tall Ships Challenge® Race Series.
Festival visitors will enjoy free entertainment and have a chance to partake in marvelous food and drink from dozens of vendors as well as shop for one-of-a kind items from festival exhibitors. Due to the vastness of the event, plan to set aside two days to experience all fourteen (14) vessels in port.
For more information about this fabulous event, please visit www.tallshipgreenbay.com or call 888-867-3342.
