Sixteen Tall Ships® are coming to downtown Green Bay for the Baylake Bank Tall Ship Festival this weekend! It's the largest fleet of Tall Ships® ever to visit the state of Wisconsin, and each ship has its own theme, story, and mission.
About the Festival
This unique maritime festival features four full days of activities, running from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Monday, with a special Parade of Sail Ceremony kicking off the event on Thursday evening (more Parade of Sail information below).
General admission tickets to the festival are unlimited, allowing you to:
- Tour the ships and interact with the crew
- See what it's like aboard a majestic, historic vessel
- Experience mock pirate gun battles between ships and pirate
sword fights
- Enjoy period reenactments, live entertainment, music, maritime
vendors and food
The Tall Ships® participating in this Green Bay event are the U.S. Brig Niagara,
Barque Picton Castle, Pride of Baltimore II, Highlander Sea, Windy II, Unicorn, Denis Sullivan, Friends Good Will, Madeline, Nina, Appledore IV, Appledore V, Pathfinder, Playfair, Royaliste and St. Paul.

Festival Ticket Information
Festival tickets are $10 for adults / $5 for children ages 3-11 / free for children ages 2 and under. Festival tickets may be purchased at the gate or in advance at all Oneida Casino Ticket Star outlets, the Resch Center Box Office, by phone at 800-895-0071, or online at www.tallshipgreenbay.com.
Thursday Night Parade of Sail Ceremony
To kick things off you can watch the ships arrive during the majestic "Parade of Sail" ceremony on Thursday evening, July 27th, at Leicht Memorial Park (AT&T Village). One by one the ships will parade from the bay of Green Bay along the Fox River into Downtown, beginning around 5 p.m. Parade of Sail attendees enjoy prime viewing from the AT&T Village, parade commentary and information from maritime experts, entertainment by the Green Bay Boys Choir and Green Bay Symphony Orchestra, and speakers including Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle and Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt.
