About Us

Packer Country Visitor and Convention Bureau is the regional destination marketing organization committed to improving the visitor experience and increasing the economic impact of tourism to its communities.

Packer Country represents Greater Green Bay, Oneida Nation and the Lake Michigan communities of Algoma and Mishicot.

The Packer Country VCB was formerly known as the Green Bay Area Visitor and Convention Bureau, formed as a non-profit organization in 1969 by business people interested in increasing tourism to Green Bay.

What does tourism mean to Packer Country?
As the third-largest industry in the region, tourism continues to grow annually. In Brown County (Green Bay), tourism expenditures have reached $518 million.

Lambeau Field is a year-round visitor attraction, and has been a catalyst for growth in Green Bay and the nearby village of Ashwaubenon. Other major tourism draws to Brown County include the new 10,000-seat Resch Center arena; neighboring Oneida Nation Tribe of Wisconsin showcasing the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center and Oneida Casino; and a revitalized downtown Green Bay featuring the KI Convention Center and The City Deck riverfront project (underway). In addition, the Packer Country VCB also represents charming Lake Michigan communities which offer a plethora of fun attractions and beautiful lakeside scenic vistas, incredible charter fishing, wineries, unique shopping and Fox Hills Resort.
