Everts Gains Sports Executive Certification

Green Bay, WI –The National Association of Sports Commissions (NASC) recently announced that Joel Everts, Packer Country Visitor & Convention Bureau sports sales manager, has been designated as a Certified Sports Event Executive (CSEE). The announcement was made at the Commission’s annual symposium in Dallas, Texas.
Open only to NASC members, the CSEE is a continuing education style program where participants from sports commissions, convention and visitor bureaus and chambers of commerce are provided with cutting edge knowledge from topics relevant to the sports event industry.
Everts has been with Packer Country for three years and in the sports event industry for more than seven years. Locally, he has worked to bring events like the NCAA Men’s Hockey regional, USA Wrestling Kids Freestyle & Greco National Championships, Cabela’s National Team Championship Fishing Tournament and USA Volleyball to the Green Bay area. He is on the Wisconsin Governor’s Council on Tourism sports marketing committee and the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon’s board of directors.
