Packer Country Visitor and Convention Bureau Announces New President and CEO

Green Bay, Wis.
November 14, 2006

Green Bay, WI – Following a nationwide search, the Packer Country Board of Directors is pleased to announce Brad Toll as the new President and CEO of the Packer Country Visitor and Convention Bureau.

Toll comes to the Green Bay based bureau from the Saint Paul RiverCentre Convention and Visitors Authority in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where he served as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. The Saint Paul RiverCentre CVA is one of the oldest destination marketing organizations in the United States and serves as a private, non-profit membership organization.

Toll’s experience in the travel and tourism industry spans more than twenty years, starting his career in Eau Claire, Wisconsin after earning a degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Starting with the Saint Paul Convention and Visitors Bureau in 1998, Toll gained extensive experience serving as Assistant Director of Convention Sales and then Vice President of Tourism before moving on to his current position as Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

Toll is also very involved in community organizations throughout the Saint Paul area, including serving as chair for the Twin Cities Metro Tourism Committee, the Minnesota Office of Tourism Advisory Committee, the Mayor’s Art, Culture, & Entertainment Committee, the Minnesota Culture/Heritage Tourism Committee, and as a board member for the Saint Paul District 17 Council. His professional memberships include Destination Marketing Association International, Travel Industry Association of America, National Tour Association, American Bus Association, Minnesota Hospitality Association, and the Minnesota Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus.

“Brad comes to us with years of experience in directing the marketing and sales strategies of a strong, Midwest travel destination,” said Tim Quigley, chair of the Packer Country Visitor and Convention Bureau Board. “His successful background in the industry will lend itself to the continued growth and strength of the Packer Country VCB and region, and we are pleased to bring him on board.”

Toll replaces outgoing President Kari Sliva, who resigned last month due to her husband’s job relocation to Arizona. Toll will begin at the Packer Country Visitor and Convention Bureau December 11, 2006.
