Launches Online Interactive Map Program

Green Bay, WI – With the click of a mouse, the Packer Country Visitor & Convention Bureau will help you navigate the region and the many attractions that bring visitors to the area. Developed in partnership with The Map Network, a leading national online mapping company, a new interactive map of Packer Country is now part of the Packer Country Web site at www.packercountry.com.

“The new interactive map program is a great way for visitors to easily locate and get directions to area attractions, restaurants and more,” said Katie Green, Director of Marketing for Packer Country. “We’re just the second tourism bureau in Wisconsin to offer The Map Network as a resource to travelers who visit our Web site.”

The user-friendly map program allows visitors search by category and zoom in on exactly where an attraction or business is located. The map also provides users with additional information on each of the destinations featured, providing easy reference points for the area businesses that are Packer Country TEAM Advantage partners. Users also have the ability to customize the map, adding their own reference points as they plan their travel route.

“We’re excited to be able to offer this new technology to visitors and the community,” Green said. “It’s another way that we can enhance the visitor experience for those in Packer Country.”
